Searching for a light lunch or dinner option? I think I found the perfect place!

Last weekend J and me tried out Sushi Counter (thanks to the invite from Rafael) and decided to check out their Business Bay branch.

This branch is super cosy and really perfect if you work in the area, the area is spacious and even has a open kitchen, so you can sit near the counter itself!

The menu served here is quite extensive, we started out with the Miso soup which for AED 10.00 is an absolute steal considering the portion is quite big. We also had a few sushi rolls, my favourite actually was the avacado shrimp tartare, which was light and fresh.

The tuna teriyaki was tender and seared perfectly, I'm not a huge fan of this dish generally but J loved it and I loved the spicy mayo dip.

What I really liked about this place is how they've tried to make sushi accessible to everyone and not just a fine dining experience.

The pulled beef nacho's

The pulled beef nacho's and the cheeto covered burito's were such hassle free, on the go type dishes.
Definitely something worth having for a quick light lunch and we loved the hint of crunch we got from the cheetos.

We also tried out the Chirashi which reminded me a bit of a sushi burger and I didn't enjoy it as much as the other dishes.

We ended our meal with some fresh mango (pre-packed) which really was the best way to end such a lovely and light diiner.

The random loves:

1. The pulled beef nacho (AED 32.00)                          2. The salmon buritto (AED 30.00)
3. The miso soup (AED 10.00)                    4. The avacado and shrimp tartare (AED40.00)
