Who doesn't know Chili's?

With over 15 outlets in Dubai alone, Chili's doesn't really need an introduction.

I remember when I was in school, Chili's was the place me and my two best friends used to go to celebrate our little milestones, as we got older - I mean 20 we'd still go to chili's this time with the boyfriends as well, I've always known what to order from Chili's, start with a pina-colada and then their classic: Country fried chicken with mashed potato and corn on the cob with a pepper sauce. So this time when we got invited to Chili's I thought I already know what I was going to order and then 3 days back on @zomato I noticed a new menu.. I was baffled!

New items like the Bacon Avocado Chicken Sandwhich, spicy grilled shrimp taco's and the bacon jack grilled chicken. I didn't know what to get: my usual or try something new? After a lot of persuading from the other J, I decided to skip the usual and try something new: the bacon jack grilled chicken topped with mushrooms and a side of mashed potatoes and grilled veggies for the main.

Here is what we loved from our dinner: the honey chipotle chicken crispers, the southwestern eggrolls  and the Texas fries topped with beef bacon, jalapeno's and sizzling cheese.

The triple dipper is a saving choosing three of these items for just AED 59.00 (easily shared by 3-4 people)
The texas chilli fries

For the mains J ordered the cilantro pesto pasta with shrimp, this is an item I never would have ordered. I never imagined Chili's as a place for pasta, I've always gone there for the chicken, wings and molten cake. I was in for a pleasant surprise. The pasta was so light and creamy and not the cheese creamy. Topped with juicy grilled shrimp. A must try.

The fajita trio served with sides of sour cream, guacamole and salsa.

The fajita trio: can be shared by two.
My mains came with creamy mashed potato and perfectly par grilled veggies, slight crunchy and perfectly moist. Again this dish could be shared by two but you wouldn't to.

We ended our meal in Chili's, Dubai mall with a chocolate chip paradise pie which Sheila our waitress recommended. In fact all her recommendations that evening were spot on and so again she right: this was paradise.
