Asian Overload - a wonderful evening at Jinja restaurant.
I love asian food - and asian food done right and with class is even better! Well that's exactly what we got going into Jinja restaurant, a restaurant that offers paper prawn dimsum's, maki rolls, crispy peking duck, wok fried crab and some Indo- nasi goreng. Yes Jinja isn't a restaurant that you can only visit once to try their menu.
Our starters included some crispy prawn crackers with a sticky sweet-chilli sauce, muse gold prawn's and some much needed sushi all this while sipping on a very unique lychee swing drink and a calm pinacolada.

But our tastebuds were sent on an adventure as soon as the Thai red prawn curry arrived, it was spectacular going hand in hand with the sticky white rice. A marriage that will definitely stand the test of time :)

Our dinner ended on a sweet note of banana and honey pancakes and sticky rice with mango. Their presentation of both the food and dessert was a 10 on 10!

What I'd really like to see from Jinja is an alcohol permit, which I feel would really bring in some of the Japanese flavours but until then I'll just sip on my lychee swing and plan my next visit to Jinja!
